ABOUT SANTA JAM

This year we're having fewer bands who'll play longer (45 mins.).
In the previous years in Virginia we've tried to include as many bands as possible only to realize 20 - 25 mins. is just too short.

The original Santa Jams in NJ had basically John Perry, his close friends and some cousins performing all night. His cousin Paul Geiger on lead vocals and alto sax, cousin Nick McCoy on tenor sax, cousins Trisha McCoy and Trisha Geiger on backup vocals, Bill Seigel on Keys, Gregg Sullivan on guitar (now w/ Blood, Sweat and Tears) and Gary Marconi on drums. They would play classic Zeppelin, Stones, Bowie, Elton John, Rod Stewart, some Christmas tunes and originals. That was '87 - '93.
